The Final Step Before Production:
You've created your concept art, found inspiration, researched your budgets and created your pitches; the only thing left to do is to create your outline.
What is an outline?
Everybody's outline will look different depending on their individual project so we can discuss in class or over email what format works best for you. Very broadly though, your outline is a guide that you will follow for the remainder of the year to make sure that you are on track with your project.
For an animated project this would look like a storyboard, If you are working on a comic book this may be page and scene layouts. If you're creating a fashion line written descriptions of each of the garments in your collection could work. What really matters is that you include all of ...
The Essential Elements:
1. A rough draft of any and all text that will be included in your final project (We want to begin the revision process early so that we have time to really perfect these)
2. Rough Sketches/ Outlines of all of the visual components of your projects.
3. A detailed checklist of everything you need to do before the end of your project. (We are going to put these on your project folders so that they are readily available to you.)
